I am the owner and head beekeeper at The Norfolk Honey Company and presenter of the successful online YouTube channel "The Norfolk Honey Company" where I present "Stewart's Beekeeping Basics".

I also have a successful, online course for beginner beekeepers called

Having started beekeeping in the 1980s I have a wealth of beekeeping experience to share and my passion for beekeeping is only equalled by my desire to help new beekeepers make the most from their pastime and enjoy the pleasure of this fabulous hobby.

I also host an online beekeeper mentoring site providing beekeepers across the world with help and support vias regular videos, a weekly podcast called "Beekeeping Short and Sweet" and one to one video mentoring. 

 

In the late 2000s, I took time out to successfully complete a full-time Science Degree focussing on Biology and Ecology at the University of East Anglia and subsequently spent time as a UK Government, Seasonal Bee and Plant Health Inspector helping identify and eradicate honeybee disease from fellow beekeeper colonies and assisting with advice on all aspects of beekeeping.

Whilst working as a Bee Inspector I also completed a City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Bee Health management and Safe Use of Veterinary medicines 

 

I finally stepped out alone, building my small but hugely rewarding beekeeping business supplying honey all over the UK, providing nucleus colonies and honeybee queens to local beekeepers and running a successful YouTube channel helping to improve the basic beekeeping techniques of many 1000s of new beekeepers.

I am active in the local beekeeping scene and current treasurer of the Norwich and District Beekeepers Association which I set up whilst at university in 2009.
